hot drink


1.After Dinner Mint



Shack vigorously and serve.

2. Alhambra

1 oz cognac
5 ozhot cocoa

Make the cocoa in an irish coffee cup and add the cognac.

3. Alhambra Royale

1 1/2 oz cognac
1 cup hot chocolate
1 twist orange peel
1 1/2 oz whipped cream

Fill a mug with hot chocolate almost to the brim. Twist an orange peel over the mug and add it to the chocolate. Using a ladle, warm the cognac over hot water, ignite and while still flaming, pour into the mug. Garnish with whipped cream.

4. Bumpo

2 oz gold rum
1 oz lime juice
1 tsp caster sugar
2 ozhot waterAdd to heatproof cup and allow the sugar to dissolve. Dust with nutmeg.

5. Canadian Cocoa


Heat milk in a small saucepan. When simmering, add remaining ingredients. Allow syrup to dissolve, and pour into a heat-proof glass.

6. Chai Toddy

1 1/2 oz spiced rum
1 dash peppermint schnapps
1 tsp honey
4 ozhot tea

Stir all ingredients in a mug and serve steaming hot. Garnish with a peppermint stick.

7. Galliano Toddy

1 oz Scotch whisky
3/4 oz Galliano® herbal liqueur
1/4 oz grenadine syrup
1 slice lemon
2 ozboiling water

8. Gin Toddy

2 oz gin
2 tsp water
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1 twist lemon peel

Mix powdered sugar and water in an old-fashioned glass. Add gin and one ice cube. Stir, add the twist of lemon peel, and serve.

9. Goldie

1/4 oz Galliano® herbal liqueur
1 1/2 oz dark rum
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
3/4 oz orange juice
1 1/2 oz milk
1/4 oz cream
1 twist orange 
peelHeat in a heat-resistant glass, add orange peel, and serve.

10.Hot Frenchman

4 oz red wine
3/4 oz Grand Marnier® orange liqueur
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 oz orange juice
1/4 oz lemon juice
1 twist orange peel
1 twist lemon peel
Heat well in a heat-resistant glass or cup. Stir, add twists of lemon and orange peel, and serve.

11.Hot Gin

2 oz gin
3/4 oz lemon juice
2 ozboiling water
1 tsp sugar
1 cinnamon stick

12.Hot Irish

1 1/2 oz Irish whiskey
4 ozboiling water
1/2 slice lemon
1 pinchground cinnamon

Pour into a heat-proof goblet, sweeten with brown sugar (to taste), and serve.

13.Hot Jamaican

2 oz Jamaican dark rum
3 oz water
1 oz limes
1/2 tsp sugar syrup
2 cloves
1 cinnamon stick
1/2 slice lime 
Heat gently in a saucepan, pour unstrained into a heat-proof goblet, and serve.

14.Hot Whiskey

2 1/2 oz Irish whiskey
1 slicefresh lemon
2-4 cloves
1 tsp sugar
hot water

Pour the whiskey into a whiskey sour glass. Add cloves into the fresh lemon and place into the whiskey. Fill with hot water and dissolve in the sugar. Serve immediately.

15.Jean Gabin

1 1/2 oz dark rum
3/4 oz Calvados® brandy
1 tbsp maple syrup
5 ozhot milk
1 pinch nutmeg

Heat rum, calvados and syrup in a heat-resistant glass or cup. Fill with hot milk, sprinkle with nutmeg, and serve

16.Red Mouth

3/4 oz white rum
3/4 oz Heering® cherry liqueur
3/4 oz cream
1 1/4 oz milk

Heat in a heat-resistant glass or cup.

17.Red Rudolph


Heat and pour into an irish coffee cup. Top with whipped cream, garnish with a tall cinnamon stick, and serve.

18.Rum Toddy

2 oz rum
2 tsp powdered sugar
1 twist lemon peel
2 tsp water

Dissolve powdered sugar in water in an old-fashioned glass. Add rum, one ice cube, and stir. Add a twist of lemon peel and serve.

19.Sweet and Hot

1 1/2 oz dark rum
3/4 oz Kahlua® coffee liqueur
3/4 oz cream
2 oz milk
1 twist lemon peel
1 clove

Heat in a heat-resistant glass, add a twist of lemon peel and a clove, and serve.

20.Whiskey Hot Toddy

1 1/2 oz bourbon whiskey
1/4 oz lemon juice
3/4 oz sugar syrup
1 slice lemon
1 clove
4 ozhot water

Heat in a heat-resistant glass, and fill with hot water. Add a lemon slice speared with a clove, and serve.
